Adjustments – Custom to You

Dr. Britini Everett

Each week, I meet with many patients. I promise you that no two are the same. So it only makes sense that the approach to care is just as different and customized as they are.

In this week’s blog, I’m going to share with you how we customize the chiropractic adjustments here at our downtown Seattle office.

First, we consider several things when choosing what kind of care a patient needs:

  • Overall health
  • Health and structure of their spine
  • Recent injuries or traumas play a role in deciding what the patient needs.

Because there are many techniques for performing the adjustment, I take a few things into consideration. This includes the patient’s comfort level, flexibility, their spine, and (of course) past injuries. We have adjustment techniques for everyone, it’s just a matter of finding what will work best for the patient and their spine.

Before you get adjusted, you will have a consultation and an exam. During those, it’s really important to share a few things with us. Please tell your chiropractor about any significant injuries or traumas you’ve had in the past. And absolutely ask questions and share concerns. Keeping open communication about care is important in the patients healing process.

Regardless of how you adjust each patient, the desired outcome is to help the patient meet their health goals, whatever those may be. Whether it is getting out of pain, preventing future pain and problems, being able to exercise comfortably, reaching other fitness goals, picking up their kids.

Each patient that comes in has a different reason why they are seeking chiropractic. It’s about figuring out why they are here and giving them the best path to reaching their goals.

If you’re experiencing back, neck, or shoulder pain, contact Sonic Chiro – one of Seattle’s Top Chiropractic Clinics! We’re ready to help you meet your health goals.
